Job Introduction

Street Cleansing Operative-West

We are looking for a Street Cleansing Operative to join our dedicated team in the Street Cleansing. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city. 

 The main responsibilities of this role:

  • .taking ownership and pride in the visible environment.
  • .undertake environmental work such as removal of litter, fly tipping and graffiti from the street scene. 
  • .to be responsible for issued PPE, equipment etc
  •  to assist with the disposal of waste at designated household waste sites
  •  to work with community groups, council wardens and the public on environmental issues. To deal with the general public and businesses and handle and return and report back on completed requests/complaints to Parks and Street Cleansing Manager.
